Description of curing press VL 63,5" and 65"
The VL 63.5" curing press is a double-dome press with the B.O.M. membrane system for moulding and curing of diagonal and radial tyres for trucks.
The VL 65" curing press is a modified version of VL 63.5“complying with the requirements of customers concerning the sizes of the moulds used and, at the same time, including all the modernising steps formerly applied to VL 63.5“.
Lifting and tilting of the upper parts of steam domes is solved by means of pulls and eccentric wheels. Those are driven by means of an electric motor via a gearbox and a set of tooth wheels located on both sides of the press stand. As standard, we use double-dome mechanic presses of the Lenze brand.
Other drives are hydraulic. The press is equipped with a thermal insulation of the steam domes.
The activity is controlled from a control cabinet, including controlling of the added equipment (loading and stabilising device). As standard, we provide our presses with Siemens or Alain Bradley control system.
In automatic mode, the press operates from gripping the semiproduct in front of the press, up to lowering of final tyres to the collecting belt.
Presses are typically delivered in a version with steam domes or with heater plates. In both cases, the pressure vessel certificate is a matter of course.
The moulding and curing process is fully controlled and monitored by means of PLC Siemens S 7 (or as per the customer's request)
The loading device allows relocation of semiproduct to the press and subsequent relocation of final tyres off the press.
All the above data can be modified as per the customer's request.
